Recipe of the day – Meatballs with cheddar cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

800 g minced pork

150-200 gr cheddar cheese

30 gr onions

bread crumbs

3 eggs

salt, pepper

For the side salad:

500 gr boiled potatoes

100 gr pickles

100 gr mayonnaise

red pepper, salt, black pepper

For the tomato salsa:

200 ml tomato sauce

20 gr onions

5 gr garlic

parsley, salt, pepper, sugar

You can start by preparing your meatballs. Mix the minced meat with the cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes. Put salt, pepper, bread crumbs and 3 eggs. Mix it well, and form your meatballs to your preferred size. Once they are ready, put them first into a beaten egg and then into the bread crumbs and fry for 6-7 minutes.

Prepare the salad by cutting all the products, big or small, just the way you like them. Mix them together, season well and serve.

For the salsa, cook the onions and garlic in olive oil for 2-3 minutes, and then add the tomato sauce in. Season with salt, pepper and sugar. After 4-5 minutes put in the parsley, and remove from the heat.

Now you can start dipping your meatballs into the sauce and eat your delicious potato salad.
