Who doesn’t love, the fluffy and big, American pancakes? They are so fluffyyyyy, I’m gonna diiie!!! It’s very easy to make them from scratch. The things you need are present in almost all of the kitchens. Now I will tell you how to make them.

  • 135g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • 130ml milk
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (allowed to cool slightly) or olive oil, plus extra for cooking
  1. Put the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a bowl and mix them nicely.
  2. In a separate bowl mix the milk, egg and melted butter.
  3. At the end put the milk mix into the flour mix and stir with a fork until smooth. The batter should be very thick, so at the end you will have big and fluffy pancakes.
  4. Serve with bananas and maple syrup.
