Wow…. wow… wow…. Look at that beauty!
This is our brand new cake! It’s the chocolate tart with cream cheese and strawberries. Very simple, elegant and tasty! A nice smooth finish for your dinner. You can make it look very fancy, if you follow our easy steps. Lets start with the products, that you need to have.
For the chocolate tart dough:
– 100 gr butter
– 70 gr sugar
– 70 gr cocoa powder
– 80 gr all-purpose flour
– 1 egg
For the cream cheese filling:
– 200 gr full-fat cream cheese
– 150 ml double cream
– 100 gr white chocolate
– a touch of vanilla essence
– 100 gr strawberries
For the dough, you have to mix first all of the dry ingredients.
Then slowly add the butter (at room temperature), and mix very nice.
At the end you add the egg and mix the dough until a nice soft ball is formed.
Wrap it in cling film and put it in the fridge, for at least 1 hour.
When you take it out from the fridge, roll it with some flour, and place it in a tart tin.
Remove all of the excess dough that is left outside the tin.
Bake in the oven, set to 170 C, for 15 minutes.
Leave it on the side, somewhere, to cool down.
Meanwhile, start with your filling.
- Mix the cheese with the melted white chocolate and add a little bit of vanilla essence.
- Put aside and start beating the double cream, until thick.
- Mix the cheese mixture and the cream, gently, with a wooden spoon.
Put the cream in your chocolate tart and decorate with strawberries. Eat it fresh. It can stay in your fridge, for the next 3-4 days. If you want to keep it longer, you can put it without the fruits.
